By default, all ports are open on our side, but for security reasons we may notify you to close a particular vulnerable port that is used for various exploits or hacks.
On UNIX systems, ports are opened either by an application or through firewall rules.
In Windows all ports are closed by default, ports have to be opened through the Windows firewall.
